Menstrual Health Access
Every month, Girls With Wiings supports more than 600 women across 12 locations in Cape Town by improving access to essential menstrual health products.
Our volunteer-led distributions provide sanitary products, soap, and other essential toiletries to women and girls experiencing period poverty. By working together with volunteers, donors, and community partners, we help ensure consistent access to dignity, care, and essential menstrual health support.

Every distribution helps women and girls manage their periods safely and with dignity while reducing the immediate impact of period poverty.
Fitness For A Cause
Fitness For A Cause uses movement to raise awareness and funds for Girls With Wiings.
Through #Run4Wiings, #Fit4Wiings, marathons, boot camps and community events, more than 600 participants have helped raise over R400,000.
The programme brings together individuals, businesses and communities to create meaningful impact through fitness. Funds raised support our annual Gift It Drive, providing essential toiletry packs to women experiencing hardship ahead of the festive season.
GWW Pads Initiative
The GWW Pads Initiative creates sustainable employment opportunities for homeless, underprivileged and vulnerable women through the production of GWW Sanitary Pads. Women earn an income while building valuable skills, confidence and work experience.
Every purchase creates impact. Profits are reinvested into the programme to create more employment opportunities for women while expanding access to affordable sanitary products for women and girls experiencing period poverty.
